Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to merge confidential PDFs here?
Yes. PDF-M never uploads your files. The merging code runs locally in your browser, which is why it keeps working even if you go offline after the page has loaded.
How many PDFs can I combine?
As many as you need — two or two hundred. The practical limit is your device's memory; most phones handle several hundred pages comfortably.
Will the quality of my PDF change?
No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. Nothing is re-compressed.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. Open the file with its password, save or print a copy without protection, then add that copy here.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Tap Choose PDF files and pick files from Files, Google Drive or iCloud. The merged PDF downloads to your phone like any other file.
Do links and bookmarks survive?
Page content, text and images are kept. Interactive features such as form fields, bookmarks and internal links may not carry over from every file.
